Springtime in Paris

My favorite time of the year in Paris is finally here!

After the mid-terms at Sciences Po, I had some time to enjoy the city with my friend Daisy who was visiting for a couple of days. It’s quite sad that I hardly ever discover Paris when I don’t have people visiting me. Normal days include seeing my apartment, metro, school, work and maybe Monoprix. So it’s kind of nice when sometimes friends kick me out of my routine and my apartment. Especially considering I only have a couple of months until I finish my master’s degree and move on to another country!

My favorite part of spring in Paris is definitely all the blooming trees. This year the Martin Luther King Jr Park has been extremely early to bloom. Same for some random trees around my neighborhood. I’m still waiting for the trees by Notre Dame and Parc de Sceaux. Those will be super nice. I already planned a picnic with my friend at Parc de Sceaux with some champagne and macarons once the weather gets warmer and trees start to bloom.

Anyways, long story short, it feels great to finally be done with winter! Here are some photos, taken with my iPhone (not too shabby, I know right):
